One could never imagine the property that lies tucked away behind the blue door (puerta azul) in this quaint Albuñuelas village street.This luxurious summer retreat and cosy winter refuge is situated in the heart of the picturesque old Barrio Bajo. The stunning first floor Master bedroom suite has a balcony overlooking the private pool area - as well as its own terrace for lazy summer breakfasts taking in the breathtaking views of the Valley. The first floor also contains the twin bedroom and a second bathroom. Steps up to the second floor lead to a cosy double bedroom, plus the main roof terrace with pergola and summer kitchenette with space to prepare food and drinks (to save you the bother of going downstairs!). The airy terrace takes in lovely views of the surrounding Sierras. The ground floor is open plan with a large, well-designed living area which includes sitting room (with comfortable family seating, satellite TV and wood burning stove) and dining area. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with granite work surfaces. Car access to the door is not possible, but it is possible to park in the square close by.
