Property - Local Facilities

This well-equipped apartment enjoys airy rooms opening onto a large terrace with dramatic views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is located in the relaxed and welcoming village of Güejar Sierra - a traditional Spanish village with cobbled streets, a town square and a handful of restaurants and tapas bars.

The terrace is equipped with a table, benches and two loungers and is completely private as there are no adjoining neighbours.

From here the historic city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace can be reached in under 20 mins. The ski slopes of Sierra Nevada can be reached in approx 25 mins (sooner when the new road is completed in 2007). The beaches of Costa Tropical can be reached in approx 50 mins. Stunning walks of all levels begin literally at the doorstep. Other activities including horse-riding, mountain-biking, canoeing, fishing and paragliding are also available. If you prefer a more relaxing break it is easy to spend the day visiting the bars (many of which still honour the tradition of free tapas) in the village and watch the world go by. Or you can relax on the large terrace and admire the views.
