El Ladero Grande is situated in the pretty, flower-draped village of Güejar Sierra in a stunning location in the heart of the beautiful Sierra Nevada National Park - but still only 20 mins from historic Granada and the Alhambra Palace and 20 mins from the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort. This property is a great base for enjoying the best of real traditional Spain combined with all conveniences and comforts such as dedicated, secure parking, air-conditioning in summer and central heating in winter. It is a spacious, luxury apartment with 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a dual-aspect living room with balcony and dramatic wraparound views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

The breathtaking views can also be enjoyed from the apartment's huge south-facing terrace. The sunny Master bedroom suite opens onto the terrace and has its own shower room with an excellent shower. There is also a family-sized bathroom with bath and shower over. The kitchen is well equipped for 6 people. Additional items such as hairdryer, iron etc are provided. For groups of more than 6 people, this apartment can be rented in conjunction with El Pequeno - the 1 bedroom apartment of similar style and standard next door (which can sleep up to another 4 people with use of the double sofa-bed).

El Ladero Grande is within a stone's throw of a variety of interesting local bars and restaurants (many of which open up pools for customers in the summer). Or for those who prefer to cook for themselves, fresh produce can be bought in the local shops.

for families there is a water park 10 minutes away at Cenes de la Vega, plus kayaking on the lake in the summer, hiking, horse-riding, canyoning, mountain-biking, paragliding and a wonderful summer fiesta in August with horse events, processions and activities for children plus free food, sangria and dancing in the village square.
