Our Booking Terms and Conditions:These booking conditions set out the basis upon which holiday reservations are accepted by Aden Sol y Nieve Propiedades S.L. (CIF D18650523) hereinafter referred to as Sol y Nieve: Minimum booking period 1 week minimum booking Arrival and departure days and timesIn general the changeover day is Saturday. However we try to be flexible where possible, especially in off peak months. On the changeover dayFollowing the departure of the previous guests in the morning, the property will be properly cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival. It will not usually therefore be ready for you before 5.00pm (unless we have already informed you otherwise). The latest acceptable arrival time is 10pm unless special arrangements have been made. In the week before the start of your holiday, please let us know your estimated time of arrival so that we can pass on this information to the keyholder. This will allow them to organise their day so that they can be there to meet you at the arranged time. If your arrival is significantly delayed for any reason (for example – a flight delay) please contact us, or the keyholder. Day of DepartureOn the day of departure (unless we have already agreed otherwise) please vacate the property by 10.00am. Gas, Water and ElectricityGas, water and electricity for normal domestic consumption are included in the rental price. HeatingAs we make no additional charge for the electric heating we do ask clients to be considerate in turning off heaters when they go out for the day. Firewood is not included in the price, but you can purchase it locally, or by arrangement with the keyholders at the property. Bed Linen & TowelsBed linen and bathroom towels are included in the price. Beach/pool towels (ie: for outdoor use) are not provided and we ask you to bring your own. CleaningThe property is, of course, cleaned between holidays. However there is only a limited period in which to clean so we would be grateful if you could leave the house and its contents as tidy as possible. Maximum OccupancyThe recommended occupancy of the property is indicated at the top of each property page on this site. However a further person or persons can sometimes be accommodated either on a sofabed (where indicated) or a supplementary bed either in the Master bedroom or the living room. We ask for advance notification if the additional bed is required and a surcharge may be added to the bill. We can also provide a cot. Domestic AnimalsPlease make enquiries at the time of booking if you wish to bring a pet. FacilitiesUnless otherwise stated there will be an electric hob and oven, sink with hot and cold water, washing machine, refrigerator with freezer compartment, adequate cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and other household equipment to a reasonable standard for holiday use (or above) and suitable for the number of people the house is designed to accomodate. The properties have modern bathrooms with flushing WC and showers or baths with shower over with hot and cold running water. TelephoneThe properties do not have a telephone line. There is however a phone box close by in the village. AlbuñuelasThis is rural Andalucia. The barrio bajo of Albuñuelas is a typical Spanish village with white, flower-draped, houses clinging to the slopes of the Rio Santo gorge. There is a car park at the top of the village but streets were built for donkey traffic, not cars and are narrow and sometimes quite steep. The properties in Albuñuelas are not suitable for those requiring facilities for the disabled or for anyone who would consider this type of access a serious impediment to the enjoyment of their holiday. The pay off lies in the tranquility, the stunning views of the Rio Santo gorge and the unspoilt traditional lifestyle. Güejar SierraThe rental price in Güejar Sierra includes use of our dedicted secure parking. One space for each property. However, as in Albuñuelas it should be borne in mind that this is a Spanish village with many narrow and sometimes steep streets. ContractIf you make a booking via Sol y Nieve, a binding contract will come into place on Confirmation of Booking by telephone, post or email.. Your contract with will be governed by Spanish law and subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts of law. The contract is made between the owner of the property and the person named on the correspondence or Confirmation of Booking, who must be over 18 and who is deemed responsible for informing all members of the party about all matters relating to the holiday. PaymentBookings will be confirmed on receipt of the appropriate payment (or faxed proof of transfer thereof). Where bookings are for a period of more than one week and are made more than 4 weeks in advance, a deposit of 50 per cent is payable at the time of booking. Bookings for one week in duration, or less then 4 weeks in advance are payable in full at the time of booking. The final payment (where applicable) must be paid 4 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. If it is not paid on time we reserve the right to cancel the booking, retain the deposit and apply cancellation charges as described below. PricesWe will absorb the first 2% of any cost increase caused by currency fluctuations, but thereafter a surcharge may be made. If the surcharge represents more than 5% of the holiday price then the client may cancel and receive a full refund of all monies paid. CancellationAny cancellations must be notified to us to us in writing (this includes email) by the person who contracted the holiday. If such notification is received more than 28 days before the holiday commencement date, only the deposit will be retained by us. Otherwise, the following charges apply which are based on the expenses and charges suffered by us as a result of cancellation: Please note that we strongly recommend that all members of the holiday party obtain appropriate travel and personal insurance cover. It may very occasionally be necessary for Sol y Nieve to cancel holidays. In such an event we will offer the client either another holiday of equivalent standard (subject to availability) or full refund of all monies paid AmendmentsIf the client wishes to alter or amend the booking, we will always do our best to comply with the request. However changes of holiday property or the dates thereof may be treated as cancellations and amendments may be subject to additional charges. Occasionally a change may have to be made by us to confirmed arrangements after a booking has been made. If a major change becomes necessary which we consider would seriously affect the enjoyment of the holiday, we will give the client the option of accepting the changes or accepting from us a holiday of equivalent standard, or cancellation of the holiday with full refund of all monies paid. Party sizeUnder no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons (including children) as stated in the property description occupy a property, except by prior written agreement with us. Failure to observe this condition is deemed to constitute a cancellation of booking by the client. Sol y Nieve reserve the right to refuse admittance and terminate the booking and apply the appropriate cancellation charges. Clients wishing to bring pets must ask prior permission. ResponsibilitiesSol y Nieve takes all reasonable measures to ensure the standard of its properties. However we cannot be held responsible for the actions of carriers, car hire companies, caterers, providers or organisers of courses or activities. We are specifically not responsible for events outside our reasonable control or if there has been no fault by Sol y Nieve. Nevertheless, we will always endeavour to immediately rectify any cause for dissatisfaction during your stay whenever you notify us (see Complaints below). The client is responsible for any property occupied and is expected to take reasonable care of it and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. Any damages are the responsibility of the client and their cost shall be refundable on demand. Key/Security DepositA security deposit is required. We reserve the right to deduct any related charges from this deposit if items are broken or need to be replaced, or if the property is left in an unreasonable state and extra cleaning is necessary. Otherwise the deposit is refunded in full after the holiday. Clients are kindly requested to replace breakages prior to departure. HealthWhile personal insurance for accident, illness and injury is highly recommended, European Nationals please note that the national health service is provided to them free of charge in Spain. They should bring with them an E111 form to be able to legally claim this service. In the UK this form is available from Post Offices. ComplaintsWe do not wish to have dissatisfied customers but in the event that the client is not entirely satisfied with the service offered, he or she should contact us in the first instance. This will give us the opportunity to put things right during your stay. If the problem cannot be resolved during the holiday period, the client should contact us in writing within 14 days of the booking and we will do our best to resolve the matter. LiabilityWe cannot be held liable to accept responsibility for death, bodily injury or illness on holiday. Law and JurisdictionThese conditions and terms of contract and all matters arising there from are subject to Spanish Law and to the jurisdiction of the Spanish Courts. |
