Cortijo las Estrellas is a traditional Andalusian farmhouse which has been modernised to a high standard and converted to 3 rental units. It is situated on it's own private piece of Sierra Nevada mountainside with paths leading up to the surrounding hills and valleys.
Although located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada with spectacular mountain views, the property is still only ten minutes by car from the Alhambra Palace and the city of Granada. The house is located just outside the old moorish village of Monachil in an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounded by olive, almond and cherry trees.
Whether for a complete escape to the Andalusian countryside, a base from which to explore the city of Granada, or a skiing holiday in Spain's highest mountain range - the location is perfect.
It should be noted that accomodation unit three is let exclusively as an extension to unit 2 for larger groups. Given that it does not have its own inside bathroom it cannot be rented on its own.
Whilst all units are completely independant of each other with their own separate entrances they can all be opened or closed creating larger or smaller spaces according to group needs. Prices below are for whole house rental. Please enquire for different group sizes.

To calculate the total price simply multiply the number of guests by the per person rate and add to the corresponding base rate. We have capacity for up to 13 people.
Babies and toddlers using cot - free of charge
Winter Heating: Each accomodation unit is heated by means of a centrally controlled oil fired heating system plus there is a fully functional chimney in each lounge area. The central heating system is programmed to come on between the hours of 6am and 11am and again from 6pm until 11pm. The owners also make available unlimited olivewood (use within reason please!). The total cost including both central heating and firewood is 10€UR per day.
Should guests choose to stay at home during daytime hours then the chimneys can be used and once burning will generate a good heat. Although involving more work, they clearly add a rustic charm to your stay and are very ecologically friendly.
Should additional central heating be required outside the normal times then this can be arranged at an additional cost of 1€ per hour of use. |
