A simple pied à terre right in the heart of the best location in historic Granada - 3 mins walk from Gran Via, the Cathedral, tourist shops etc, 10 mins from the Alhambra.

This is a rustic style apartment in a 16th century building in the pedestrian quarter of the old Arabic area. The whole area, with its cobbled streets, historic buildings and far reaching views over Granada, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The basic, sleeping loft and sofabed accomodation mean that this apartment is not suitable for everyone - but it is priced accordingly, making this hard to beat for value in Granada's premier location.

The terrace, shared with the other apartments, doubles up as a utility area, but does have a table and chairs, BBQ, and a stonking view of the Alhambra.

If you tire of the view from the roof, the apartment also has International TV with 90 Channels and free internet.

The Albaicín (Albayzin)

With its ancient white houses and winding cobbled streets - the Albaicín is like a village in the heart of the city. The long Moorish history of Granada is close to the surface here and at times it still feels like you are in Morocco. A great place to wander around, discover interesting little plazas with great places to eat, or stumble across gitano flamenco guitarists at the Mirador de San Nicolás while enjoying the unparalleled views over the city.
