Property - Local Facilities

Casa Madrigal is situated in Pinos El Valle - the highest of the Lecrin Valley villages. Perched on a ridgeline overlooking the Beznar Dam and Lake, the village enjoys breathtaking panoramic views.

This is a traditional and spacious Spanish 'carmen' style property, with 4 elegant and comfortable rooms (3 doubles and a single), lots of living space, terraces and pool. If required, there is an additional single sofa bed in one of the double rooms.

In the summer, guests can enjoy the pool and airy terraces or take refuge in the traditional Andalucian courtyard with pretty flowers and plenty of shade to while away hot summer afternoons. There are two living rooms for guest use. One has access to books, games and toys, whilst the other has a comfortable chairs and sofas where one can relax and watch a DVD or television. There is WIFI throughout the house allowing you to use your laptop and connect to high speed broadband if you wish.

The Pink Suite - has a double bed and access to its own bathroom. The bedroom opens onto a first floor terrace and has views into the mountains. The room itself has original beams, wooden doors and windows and traditional thick walls to ensure that it remains cool in the hot summer months.

The Green Room - double room with shared shower room.

The Milk Room - double room with shared shower room. This room also has an additional single sofa-bed if required.

The Green Suite - the Green Room and the Milk Room are in the same part of the house and share a shower room. These two rooms are ideal for families and can be booked together at a discounted rate.

The Blue Room - single room with private bathroom

Pinos del Valle

Pinos del Valle is an unspoilt Spanish village - offering guests the opportunity to experience rural spain, away from the package holidays of the Costas. The village has 3 general stores (one of which is open 7 days a week, until late in the evening), a bakery selling freshly baked bread each morning, 2 pharmacies & a bank. The excellent bar Bar Venezia serves tapas and larger meals to order and has great views across to the Alpujarras. This is a fertile agricultural region, with an abundance of orange, almond, & olive trees. A short walk takes you immediately into beautiful countryside.
