and you enter straight into the secluded, secret garden and patio of this lovely building, inspired by the traditional Carmenes of Andalucia.
The entrance of the apartment is on an authentic Moorish Street with the best shops in town and beautiful teashops which recreate all of the flavour of old markets in Morocco. The area also offers a wide selection of traditional food and the best quality tapas bars and vegetarian restaurants (with live music or dancing in some venues). The nicest plazas in town like Bibrambla and Plaza Trinidad are two steps away. Also, the famous market of San Augustin, behind the Cathedral.
The Arab Baths, only 5 minutes stroll from the door, will recreate some of the ancient Nazarid customs for you to enjoy - such as a relaxing bath in alternating hot water and cold water pools. For 16 euros there is a massage with aromatherapy and pool included (open 7 days a week, with no previous booking necessary).
The apartment (owned by a master builder) is
one of a small group around the enclosed patio garden with its fountains. It is situated on the top floor of 3 stories and also enjoys its own private patio off the lounge area. While this is a modern apartment - it is built in the traditional Andalus style of old Spain.
The property is also within walking distance of efficient bus services, which lead on to the other great cities of southern Spain - Cordoba, Malaga, and Sevilla, as well as the coast. The ski slopes are one hour away, as are the surf beaches of the Costa Tropical. The white villages of the Alpujarras are 1.5 hrs. Granada international airport is 30 mins. Cars can be hired around the corner in Plaza Nueva.

The Albaicín (Albayzin)
With its ancient white houses and winding cobbled streets - the Albaicín is like a village in the heart of the city. The long Moorish history of Granada is close to the surface here and at times it still feels like you are in Morocco. A great place to wander around, discover interesting little plazas with great places to eat, or stumble across gitano flamenco guitarists at the
Mirador de San Nicolás while enjoying the unparalleled views over the city and the Alhambra Palace on the hill directly opposite.
